Women in society

Women in society have come a long way from where they used to stand. Typically a women was viewed as a home maker and domestic worker. Stereotypes such as having their place in te kitchen and taking care of the children. But now adays the modern woman can be independent and work for herself. Some women have bigger salaries than some men in te workforce. Image has also changed. In older times the image of beauty for a woman was typically a full figured woman, that has changed to either skinny or fit image of a woman. Also beauty nowadays seems to focus around a lie of makeup that women put on. The heels they wear tell lies of their height and push up bras deceive the eyes. The image of women has definitely changed from roman times an even from te fifties, where a conservative woman was viewed more as classy and conservative.

  1. Do you think that the image of beauty will change again? Could it go back to full figured women as the ideal beauty?

In my eyes, I do see the definition of beauty changing. However, I believe it will happen slowly. I don't know if it will go back to being fuller women, but rather more fit women. I think society now is becoming more concerned with health. So, my guess is that fitness and toned bodies will become the ideal.
