On Tuesday, we watched a film about how people and their class status can be depicted on television.  Most of the tv shows we watch on Tuesday showed the lives of middle class people, whether they were blue collar workers or successful upper class individuals who have found success in their work.  Personally, I enjoy shows such as King and Queens because it is funny and relatable to a large audience while other shows that have characters with an excess amount of money are just un relatable to the middle working class.  On the other hand, I like the other shows as well.  Sex and the City is a good example of higher class depicted on tv.  These women do things that most average American women would not be able to.  I think that is why people enjoy these shows so much too, because they idolize a life like these ladies primarily because they do not have it.  I believe that the media portrays different shows to clearly show which is the middle and upper class.  They show the lives that people want to lead and the actual lives that they probably lead.
