Social and economic class

On tuesday, different series of television were used as examples to show how differently media portrays our social and economic classes of people. In many cases, media shows upper class, wealthy families living luxurious lives because our society is always working towards that point of financial success. We often like to imagine ourselves with more money or a better life based of the way the characters in these shows live. Personally, I think this is beneficial to us because the majority of shows teach valuable life lessons and show that no matter how much money you may have, you will always have problems. This is important because many people are so concerned with money and wealth they often forget about the true important things in life such as health, family, and friends. A good example of this is the "Fresh Prince of Belair" because although their family has money they still face conflict and always end up learning something new from their experiences and growing closer as a family.
