INCEPTION!!

So many of you should be familiar with the movie "Inception" starring Leo DiCaprio. The movie revolves around the term inception, which was stated to be "an idea planted inside the head of someone subliminally (or in dreams) and to have them accept this idea as their own". Sounds a lot like hegemony doesnt it? In relation to the Tom and Jerry 2010 piranha cartoon, I believe that they plant the idea of capitalism in the minds of the young adolescents who watch it. Think about this, children mimic what they see on TV. What message did the cartoon send? Make money, spend it and buy stuff....and you get the girls......capitalism at its best, planted into the minds of the future generation to accept capitalism as their own.
