Almost Famous
What does it mean to be famous? I guess it would mean to be recognized, whether it be good or bad by people outside of your social circle. I believe that everyone will get their 15 min of fame because they will be recognized one day for something that they have done...good or bad. Anyone who watches Jersey Shore will know "The Unit" also known as Jonny Manfre, for appearing on the show a few times as Mike's "The Situation" good friend. Up until now hes made 2 appearances on 2 episodes and he is already "famous" and making appearances at night clubs in Chicago like Lumen. People can become famous because of the videos they make or are featured in, such as the video of the helpless young adult who was maliciously beaten up by 7 of his schoolmates, the video has gone viral and was even on the news. A guy at a party who does the longest keg stand would probably impress the binge drinkers and suddenly all the frat boys want to know who this mysterious keg drinker is and party with him. He just became famous on a smaller scale not like a national level. Whether its a small setting or scale....yes we all eventually do get our 15 min of fame.

I agree. The word "famous" is completely relative. It depends on the interpreters definition as well as the context of the situation.
